I've been slacking

I've been slacking on updating the blogs the last few months, I finally got up the BDA pics today and there will be several updates on the trucks page of the next few days (from a fire show and the firemens convention) ... I will make sure in the future not to lag on my posting and I'm looking into purchasing a smaller camera that is easier to carry around with me ... stay low and catch you at the big one ... T.J.

Bradford Dying Associates

Back on May 15th 2007 Ledyard and Gales Ferry along with most of Southeastern CT and Rhode Island were sent out to Bradford Dying Associates in Bradford RI. The pictures here were taken by Gales Ferry firefighter Chuck Dunn, he was on R-21 and they were committed to supplying a ladder truck so he borrowed my camera while I was committed to interior ops ...

With a heavy heart ...

It is is enormous sadness that I post the passing of Gales Ferry Deputy Chief William Carmack. Bill was a 17 year member of the Gales Ferry Fire Dept. Bill was a friend and a brother to all Ledyard Emergency services agencies and fire departments through the region and he will be deeply missed. Funeral arrangements will be posted as soon as I receive them.

Pinball Machine

On Wednesday Feb 7 2007 Ledyard and MPFD were dispatched to Rt 2 for a vehicle leaking fluids. It turns out the vehicle had struck and damaged at least 9 other vehicles in the Foxwoods Garage. He proceeded to drive out onto RT 2 were the MPPD and CSP pulled over and arrested the driver for DUI. I was able to grab a few pictures of what was left of his car, I was unable to get over the garage to view the carnage.
